Prague Check
Monday, July 11, 1938
Prague Check. This is really the place for me. Prague is
a beautiful city. We came out of the Station and bought crowns
from a drunk with Amercian money.
They really play hard and fast here and stay up all night. I
shall never forget Prague. We met 3 men on street and made a date
with another. (one was a fruit and really went after Gibbens.)
The trip behind the Gib was of interest also. With light going
out all the time. Gib was certainly disgusted about the "fruit".
Prague is really a beautiful city. We walked to the East end
of the bouliivard and looked down the street. I am looking forward
to sight seeing tomorrow. Stayed at a nice Hotel here for $26.40
crowns. Crown worth 4 cents.

Got up and ate Ham and eggs. Finally made it to the hotel.
Slept till 8:30. Walked around for awhile.
Wednesday, July 13, 1938
Walked over Prague all day. I was very interested. It is
now 1 o'clock. We leave for Vienna at 4:30. Saw St. Vitus
Cathedral. Very beautiful. Saw Castle of Hradiany.
Saw Ty_____ Church. Saw poor section of town and Old town.
Walked over Viltava River 2 times.
Gibbens and I walked for 5 hours straight. I think that I have
seen everything of interest here.
Cechz. is made up of 5 races - Polish, Slavic, Cechz, Bohemian, German.
