Dear Mother,
I am certainly sorry your answer to the last letter I wrote you hasn't
arrived yet, but I don't suppose there is anything I can do about it
now. Maybe it will catch up with me eventually.
I'm really in a heck of a storm at the present. My alloment to Helen
went to the bank in my name instead of hers and it will take a couple
of months to get that straightened out. In the meantime the money will
go into our joint account. I wrote Love yesterday to change the joint
account we have together to an account with Helen and I. I don't suppose
it makes any difference to you anyway because it was all my money anyway
(what little there was).
You know everything happens to me. I'm certainly having a time getting
my affairs straightened out and it hanestly worries the heck out of
me.
I really enjoyed New York City. Saw a couple of plays. I sent a couple
of programs home. I thought you might like to look through them. Sure
did wish you and Helen had been here to go with me. I know how much
you especially would enjoy it. Tickets were very easy to get for everything
but "Oklahoma."
Take good care of yourself now and I'll see you soon. Thanks a lot
for batting on my side on the Robt. Warwick proposition. I certainly
hope it goes off OK.
Love,
Bob
